THE CORE ASSESSMENTS
The CORE ASSESSMENTS is the base for your being and ability to cope in everyday life and forms the base for all positions. This is the most critical step that is neglected in virtually all Psychometric assessments.
These assessments are not available online as the measurements taken for these assessments require that optimum conditions are created where the person assessed can perform to the best of their ability. Also do we have to ensure that the hardware used meets minimum standards as well as negate any delays that would be encountered using online access.
All of these assessments do not require any computer literacy or any ability to be able to read as the assessments are completed under the supervision of a Test Administrator who will help with all instructions.
To protect the integrity of results and to stop any influence on the results the following has to be taken note of:
You cannot practise for the tests. There are no free samples or tests available online. — YOU DO NOT NEED TO PRACTISE AS THERE IS NO PASS or FAIL — We only test what occurs naturally in you
You have to give us warning if you have been tested on the same test with the same VTS system. We need 6 months especially with the CORE Assessment to be completed before we can test a person again. There is a cumulative effect that you could improve your results as the brain retains information in patterns and experiences even with an singular exposure and we need 6 months to pass for that cumulative effect to fade enough to influence a followup test
The test procedures are as follows:
Setting a profile
Person details are entered into the system
Unique ID is generated in the systems in addition to the persons ID for the Country as well as his work ID being entered for future followup and references (this requires roughly 5 minutes)
The correct test set is selected for the candidate that will match his Job Profile which is agreed upon with the company in the early stages of determining what the objectives are for each Job Type to be tested
The Testing procedure
Part 1 – Each test will be introduced to the person being tested. Written instructions are available in many languages, but the person tested cannot continue unless the Test Administrator is sure that they understand the purpose of the test and how they will proceed
Part 2 – The person will undergo a familiarisation and instruction phase
Part 3 – The person will undergo a short practise test to see if they understood the instructions and if completed successfully the test session will then become available for the actual test – Nobody will be allowed by the system to enter the actual test if the system is not satisfied that the person tested understands the instructions
Part 4 – The test will be completed. In the event of there being more test in the test sets, they may take a small toilet or water break and then continue with the rest of the tests in the test set.
No results are immediately released to anybody after completing a test
The test results are built into the systems and automatically prepared by the system. There is no possibility of interference or influence of the results by outsiders
The test administrators do not have access to the results. This is done to protect them and your company from interference and doing any practices on the system or deleting information from the systems
Test data or results cannot be extracted from the system by anyone not having a secure login to the system with the correct authorisation levels to do so.
